Shopping
Shop along Calle Larios for resort fashions, leather goods, silver and gold jewelry.  The department store El Corte Inglés offers everything under one roof, including a good selection of handicrafts and souvenirs. Most shops close from 1 to 5; the department store stays open. On Sundays only tourist oriented shops will be open.

Cuisine
Enjoy the local appetizers called tapas, served in typical tapas bars. Fresh fish and seafood appear on many menus. Be sure to sample gazpacho, the delicious cold spicy soup.

Other Sights
 Malaga Fine Arts Museum. Here are works by Spanish artists of the 16th to 20th centuries,  including Picasso.
 Marbella.  Favored by the rich, pastimes include strolling through the narrow streets and shady squares, shopping in chic boutiques, and dining at quaint outdoor cafés.
 Puerto Banus is also a spot for the yachting set, except that it is smaller, more distant, and more chic than Marbella.
 Torremolinos has lost much of its charm. Spend your time seeing Mijas, Rhonda, Marbella, or Puerto Banus, instead.

Internet facilities are located at Plaza de la Merced and Avenida Andalucia, in front of the El Corte Ingles department store.

  Real Club de Campo de Malaga is a relatively flat course with wide tree-lined fairways  that can be played all year.
